I've found that doing little sketches of architectural or mechanical plans before you draw it in the panel is not surprisingly very helpful, even if I secretly resent having to do so. I always liked books with little maps or schematics in the appendix and I suppose I never thought that they were probably created to assist the writing of the story rather than just to supplement it later.
Beatrice is Dead WIP. About half way finished; needs some detail in the columns, the elevator interior and some general tarting up.
Ink and gouache so far.
